Short update. Tristan and I went to the hospital before church today. Heather was asleep so we just visited with Scott. She woke up when we were leaving and asked why we had to go to church. They clamped her drain this morning and her pressures started to rise will we were there because they were giving her a bolus of fluid. SHe has not been able to drink or eat much and was getting dehydrated. But the fluid they were giving her to re-hydrate her makes the pressures in her head rise. They were able to come down quickly then they would go up again. We were only there an hour. When we returned after church she was asleep again. I spoke with the nurse and he said her pressures went over 25 and they had to open up the drain again. So that sets us back a day on our plan. However, it would be worse to have the drain pulled out too soon, and then the fluid accumulate. So this is better overall. Hopefully they can clamp it again tomorrow and watch her for 24 hours then pull it out on tuesday. Your thoughts and prayers are much appreciated.
